Spetses Greece wedding editorial
I am so thrilled to share this Spetses, Greece wedding editorial with you! I attended the Phos Workshop in Spetses, Greece in April of this year, and this shoot was the first part of the film photography workshop. Our workshop hosts, Justine Milton and Les Anagnou, put together this dreamy, romantic wedding editorial with lush orange and peach blossoms. Our model bride, Olga, wore a stunning Samuelle Couture gown from Spina bridal, and carried a stunning bouquet made by our workshop florist, Jim Labrako.
The venue is a historic Greek villa, situated right in the heart of Spetses’ winding old neighborhoods. Our workshop hosts set up a beautiful ceremony inside the villa, a dreamy cake, and a lush and romantic tablescape on the villa’s patio. We had such beautiful sunshine streaming through the citrus and olive trees, which made my film photographs shine. Our hair and makeup artist for the week, Frantzeska Koukoula, did an incredible job glamming up our bride.
I am starting to incorporate film photography into my work, which lends a more fine art look to my photos. All of these photos were shot on film and scanned by the wonderful Canadian Film Lab, who were also a workshop host. I have 3 more Spetses, Greece wedding inspiration shoots from my time in Spetses, and I’ll be sharing those on the blog soon! So much more fine art film photography to come!!
