I live just outside of Boston and love my New England couples so much. But being born in NYC has me drawn to photograph more couples further down the East Coast. This year, I’ve started to photograph couples in NYC and Brooklyn, and I love the gorgeous architecture, history and vibrancy of this city. I was so lucky to work with Ellie and Efi, who woke up before sunrise for their Prospect Park engagement session, close to their Brooklyn home.

I love watching a city wake up, from the early morning walkers and runners to the businesses raising their metal garage doors to welcome deliveries. The sun crept over the Boathouse on the Lullwater of the Lake in Prospect Park as we started shooting. The fall colors in Prospect Park were absolutely glowing, and we captured some amazing and colorful images of these two lovebirds!
