I am so excited to feature Samantha and Kenny’s Bethesda Terrace engagement session on the blog today! I photographed these two a few months ago when Kenny proposed to Samantha in Boston on the waterfront, so I was thrilled to work with them again in NYC.

We woke up before sunrise so that we could shoot at the spectacular and very busy Bow Bridge and Bethesda Terrace and Fountain. Besides a few joggers, we were the only people on Bow Bridge as the sun rose over NYC’s Upper East Side. Sunrise is the absolute best time for shooting in busy locations.

Samantha and Kenny brought their adorable dog, Sophia, to their engagement session. I love when couples bring their fur babies to sessions! Thanks again Samantha and Kenny!
