I’m going to try to blog as many of my 2019 weddings as possible, and I’ve been so excited to share more from Elise and Ben’s industrial restaurant wedding at Coppersmith in Southie. This is such a fun restaurant, complete with garage doors, brick interior, a roof deck for a wedding ceremony, and incredible wood tables and metal chairs for the reception. Although their ceremony was inside due to rain, it was the most beautiful transformation of a restaurant for a wedding. I love photographing weddings at restaurants because I love the natural character and foodie environment, plus it’s often the best wedding food of the year!

Elise and Ben enlisted an incredible dream team for their wedding day. Yvonne of Unique Melody Events was on hand all day to make the plan B rain ceremony happen. Millie of Whitemoss and Twigs created the most beautiful bouquets, arrangements and reception decoration that truly transformed the industrial vibes of Coppersmith. She even put greenery and candles on the second story metal awning above the cocktail hour and reception spaces.

Despite the tricky weather, this was such a beautiful and wonderfully happy day. Elise and Ben are two of the sweetest and most adorable couples I’ve gotten to work with! Plus they have the CUTEST pup, Goose, an insta-famous black lab. You might remember this trio from their engagement session, which I blogged here. After doing most of their photos inside, we caught a break in the rain and we were able to do photos in Boston’s Seaport District and on the the roof of Coppersmith.
