I’m backtracking to late May to share some of Katelyn and Brendan’s Ipswich engagement session. I’m so happy this sweet couple reached out to me for engagement photos. They already had their wedding photographer booked, but wanted some photos to capture their love at their favorite place – Crane Beach.

I was nervous about the weather for their engagement session, and we photographed through one very light shower. We were rewarded with the most incredible, soft light and heavenly steaming sunlight poking through clouds. Just wait until you see the photos of them sitting in the dunes, surrounded by sunlight. I could hardly wait to get these film scans back, and I’m so happy with the results. Even with a high chance of rain, I’m so pleased with these results!

Crane Beach is located along the Atlantic Coast in Ipswich, MA. There are more than 5 miles of trails through the dunes and woods along this protected coastal nature preserve. The boardwalks and sandy paths make for the most picturesque sites for engagement photos. I will never turn down an opportunity to photograph a happy couple or family here!
