Chelsea & Tony’s late summer Endicott Park engagement session is on the blog! This was one of my absolute favorite portrait sessions from this year. Chelsea is a photographer herself, and I was so flattered when she chose me to document her engagement and her and Tony’s wedding next year at Lake George Club in New York.
We started their session along Endicott Park’s beautiful main pathway along the horse pasture, lined with old oak trees. We had perfect low sunshine, which is the best light for film photography. I love the way film takes bright highlights from the sun and makes them soft and romantic.
I’ve photographed at Endicott Park many times, but I discovered some new favorite spots. Along with some of my favorite engagement photos ever, I got the sweetest reply from Chelsea after I delivered their session:
“We wanted to reach out to thank you, again, for the absolutely stunning work you created for us. We are head over heels in love with our engagement photos. You made us (especially me!) feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we had so much fun with it.
I knew from our first phone conversation that you were going to be a pleasure to work with — but this has been far better than I could have imagined. If our photos look this great now, we can’t wait to see what we’ll be looking at next year! We really can’t thank you enough. You are truly amazing at what you do!”
Cue the waterworks! Thank you so much Chelsea and Tony!! I can’t wait for next year!
