I’m bringing one of the most beautiful 2019 weddings to the blog today – Erika & Nick’s stunning summertime Rosecliff mansion wedding! This gorgeous day started with Erika and the bridesmaids getting ready in a Forty 1 North suite overlooking Newport harbor. I loved Erika’s fitted Martina Liana gown from Your Dream Bridal and Nick’s classic black tux. The two joined hands at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church for their wedding ceremony in downtown Newport. One of my favorite photos of the day is their exit from the church, surrounded by friends and family tossing rose petals.
Erika and Nick hosted guests for a cocktail hour at Rosecliff mansion, a spectacular mansion in Newport, built in 1902 and modeled after Versailles Grand Trianon. The entire property is absolutely amazing for photos, and we quickly covered most of the grounds for their portraits. They finished their cocktail hour overlooking the ocean with a champagne tower pour and a jazz trio.
Rosecliff hosts their receptions inside an opulent ballroom, complete with adorned walls, painted and gilded ceilings and lush decorations. Erika and Nick brought in floral designer Castle & Cottage to design delicate pink and white floral arrangements that fit so well into the ballroom. After beautiful speeches from Erika’s dad and the couple’s siblings, the couple kicked off the reception with greek dancing. This was such an amazing day and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it! If you’re planning a Rosecliff Mansion wedding, I’d love to talk more!
