It’s been a year and a half since Paige & Mike’s Castle Hill Inn wedding, and it remains one of my favorites to date. Their wedding is the perfect example of gorgeous portraits despite a very rainy weather forecast. They were excited to continue doing portraits outside despite a constant drizzle. We worked fast, used a clear umbrella and braved a little mist to get some seriously stunning images at the picturesque Castle Hill Inn lighthouse.
Paige and Mike had to have the ceremony inside the tent, but the romance and intimacy of the ceremony was not lost. These two are so charismatic and clearly in love, I kept tearing up during the ceremony. My favorite part was Mike’s dad’s speech during the ceremony, where he wished them many blessings, including to be able to speak at their own child’s wedding some day. His speech still gives me goosebumps as I think about giving a speech at my son Miles’ wedding one day. *cue Mom tears*
I always love photographing reactions during toasts, and this wedding was no exception. Keep scrolling until you see the adorable black and white frames of Paige and Mike during toasts. These sweet moments just make me swoon!
You can see Paige and Mike’s adorable, candid engagement session is featured previously on my blog here. Check it out for some dreamy afternoon light in Beacon Hill.
