Katherine & Max’s Wedding Day
It’s been almost a year since Katherine & Max’s Hingham Private Estate wedding, and I am so excited to share more images from this incredibly special day!
Katherine got ready at her family home in Hingham. It is incredibly special to have a hometown wedding, but even more special if your family home is the venue. Katherine and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in the family room and she got dressed in her parents’ bedroom. We even did all of their portraits on the grounds around the home. The Dolphin residence had the most perfect, level backyard with amazing landscaping, which made for the perfect setting to put up a massive sailcloth tent and throw a big wedding.
Katherine and Max exchanged rings and said their vows at Hingham Congregational Church, just down the road from the house. In a hilarious moment that I will never forget as a wedding photographer, Max missed his cue to come out of the holding room, and I had to run to the back to grab him as Katherine made her way down the aisle. It was a hilarious story to retell for the rest of the day. After a glorious rose petal exit from the church, the bridal party and guests made their way back to the house for the cocktail hour around the pool and reception.
The summer light was absolutely stunning for portraits – just wait until you see the bride and groom images!! And the tent absolutely sparkled as the sun went down during dinner. The evening concluded with an amazing performance from Highline Band of Nightshift Entertainment and a sparkler sendoff.
Cheers to Katherine and Max – these two are obviously so loved and it was wonderful to celebrate them!!
