Marblehead Newborn Photography: The Leverone Family

My husband grew up with this beautiful mama, so I was so excited when she reached out to have me document her sweet newborn baby. Abby and her husband and baby boy live in Marblehead and welcomed their baby in summer 2021. I went to their house on a rainy summer day to photograph their Marblehead newborn session.

Newborn sessions are such a great way to capture a tender and otherwise very blurry moment in time. The first month of a newborn’s life goes by in a flash, and suddenly that tiny baby is a babbling, awake, chunky infant. It is so important to capture this fleeting time and all of the tender little details like their little laps, tiny fingers and crinkly feet. I typically schedule about 2 hours for my newborn portrait sessions. This gives us lots of time to take breaks for feeding and diaper changes.

All photos are taken on my Contax 645 film camera and processed by Photovision.
