The Story
Josh and I got married in 2021 at Willowdale Estate, so this is obviously a very special place to me. I’m so excited to share Chelsea and Dan’s Willowdale Estate wedding next on the blog.
These two were such a wonderfully special couple. They were kind, welcoming and so incredibly fun. This was one of seven weddings I had in September 2023. It stands out as being so laid back, fun, and full of love.
Everything about this day brought back such wonderful memories of my own wedding. Chelsea got ready in the beautiful bridal suite at Willowdale. We did her first look with her dad in the courtyard, and then first look with Dan outside of the north entrance of the mansion. There are so many places to shoot at Willowdale. I always try to make the photos unique each time I’m there, and unique from pervious weddings I’ve shot there. I did take one shot from my own wedding that I loved. The amazing portrait of Dan in the doorway is a copy-and-paste from one that my own photographer took of Josh on our wedding day.
Chelsea and Dan had their ceremony in the stunning stone courtyard, which never gets old. It is beautiful in all seasons. They had their cocktail hour in the mansion, and then proceeded to Willowdale’s iconic tent for the reception. Their entrance into the tent was so wild and energetic. Scroll to find my photos as they entered the tent, they’re so amazing. But the absolute best photos, in my opinion, are on the dnace floor. This group was wild. Led by the hilarious and energetic dance moves from the groom, the dance floor did not let up all night. Scroll and enjoy this incredible Willowdale Estate wedding, it’s one of my all-time favorites!
