I met Thomas and Jasmine through a friend last summer in Ogonguit, Maine at a fourth of July party. I immediately saw how kind and gracious they were to each other. Jasmine and I connected immediately because she also works in the wedding industry, for wedding florist Wild Dahlia. I was so excited when Thomas messaged me on Instagram to photograph his proposal to Jasmine. I regularly spoke to Jasmine about wedding industry-related topics, and it was SO difficult to remain calm and nonchalant as I knew about her upcoming engagement.

Thomas and I coordinated our spot at Fort Point in front of the Barking Crab. Thomas and Jasmine walked around the corner, and he stopped her right in front of me and dropped to one knee. Jasmine had the best reaction (see below!) which included dropping her earmuffs and temporarily walking away from Thomas. After she said yes, we spent the rest of the evening walking around the Seaport District and eventually met up with both sets of parents for a few unplanned family photos.
