I have had such a busy start to wedding season, but I’m SO excited to blog some recent sessions, starting with Erika & Nick’s Salve Regina engagement session. Erika and Nick are getting married in Newport and live nearby in Rhode Island, so it was a natural choice to do their engagement session around Newport! We started at the beautiful Salve Regina campus, where the front walk was lined with gorgeous white-blossomed trees. I absolutely loved working with these two. They were clearly so comfortable together which makes my job easy!

After Salve Regina, we ventured to Newport’s famous Cliff Walk and the less known King’s Beach, which is along Ocean Ave. During a spring with so much rain and many cancelled sessions, I was thrilled to have such a sunny day for their engagement session.

I can’t help but to share Erika’s kind words after I delivered her engagement session:

“Catherine- these are amazing!!!! I kept sneaking peaks of them at work all day, we are so thrilled with them. Thank you so much for your amazing talent and hard work, engagement photos have stressed me out ever since November, and these are so beautiful I could cry (and I’ve definitely teared up looking at them multiple times! 🙂 ) It is such a relief to have these beautiful photos, now we can use them for a newspaper announcement, bridal shower, website, ah thank you Catherine!! I really appreciate all of the work you put into these!”
