Extended family sessions are perfect to get multi-generational photos, grandkids with grandparents, cousins, and individual family portraits. In a 60-90 minute session, you can get so many combinations of photos for the entire family and get everyone’s holiday cards done.
My clients often ask me what to wear for extended family sessions. I do NOT recommend everyone wearing the exact same thing – think 90’s family pictures in white t-shirt and khakis. Yikes. I advise clients to decide on a few colors and build off those. I love what the Conahans chose – light pink, light blue, sea green and white. It was the perfect color scheme for the beach and their Scituate home.
