Next up is Kate and Gabe’s Pelham House Resort wedding!
I joined Kate and Gabe for the entire weekend at Pelham House, a gorgeous and newly renovated resort on Cape Cod. This resort is wonderful for a weekend buyout. I joined the festivities on Friday night for a fabulous lobster boil rehearsal dinner and poolside welcome party, which you can view on the blog here.
Jessica Hennessey planned the most spectacular and beautiful day for Kate and Gabe. Both bridesmaids and groomsmen were able to get ready onsite. They opted to do a first look overlooking the beach and complete their wedding party and family photos ahead of the ceremony.
Sadly, Kate’s mom was in the hospital on their wedding weekend. Since Cape Cod hospital was closeby, we decided to hop in some cars and make sure that Kate could spend time with her mom on her wedding day. It was an incredibly sweet moment and one that I was very grateful to capture.
Pelham House has beautiful facilities and a wonderful flow to the events that makes the guest experience really lovely. First, guests are welcomed to the lawn with signature drinks for the ceremony. Facing the ocean, guests enjoy a pristine view as they watch Kate and Gabe exchange vows. Following the ceremony, guests walk upstairs to a large deck with the same fabulous ocean view. Next for the reception, Jessica’s team guided guests downstairs for a flower-decked reception.
It was perfect weather. The vendor team excelled. Kate and Gabe were so lovely with each other and their family and friends.
