make it *easy* and beautiful

Welcome to the world of wedding planning. It can be a lot to take in if you don’t know what you’re looking for. There are lots of choices. There are lots of trends and fads.

I am a full service boutique wedding photography service. I am based in Salem, MA, but travel regularly all over New England and across the U.S. for destination weddings.

From our first call to your wedding day, I will create an easy and joyful photography experience for you and your fiance. I am by your side almost every moment of your wedding day - there for the planned moments like your vows and the unplanned moments. I check off every photo on your family shot list and capture all of the moments that couldn’t appear on a shot list, because they are so perfectly unscripted and yours.

When you receive your wedding photos after your wedding day, you will relive every moment of joy, excitement, anxiety and love. You’ll feel the warm heat from the hot streets of Boston or the cool breeze coming off the ocean at your coastal wedding. You’ll feel every hug, every dance floor move, every refreshing cocktail hour drink in your hand.

Make sure you have an experienced photographer that feels like a friend with you for your wedding day. Walk through the steps with me, from our first phone call to your wedding gallery delivery.

The Process

NEXT >

01.

The first step to securing me as your wedding photographer is to fill out my inquiry form on my contact page. From there, we’ll hop on a phone call to talk through your photography needs, my process, and craft a proposal that works perfect for you.

02.

Booking me as your wedding photographer is the easiest part. If you love my work and my passion for weddings, you and your fiancé will put down a 30 percent deposit to retain the wedding date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day.

03.

An Engagement Session is a great opportunity to practice in front of the camera. Most of my couples think they’re “awkward in front of the camera” and 100 percent of my couples absolutely shine in their portraits. I’m not here to pose you. I give you consistent, natural direction that yields genuine reactions and gorgeous images. Your portraits will feel like you, not stiff poses. Your engagement session images are useful for save-the-dates, on your wedding website, and as decor at your bridal shower or rehearsal dinner.

04.

About 1 month before your wedding, you or your planner will work with me to create a seamless photography timeline. I love to help craft a day-of timeline that will make a relaxing photography experience for you.

05.

Your wedding day will come and go in the blink of an eye! Luckily, I will be there for every moment, big and small. Enjoy your wedding day knowing I will capture every minute of your day, keep your photography timeline on schedule, photograph all of your thoughtful details, and capture every unique moment.

06.

I deliver fully-edited online galleries to my couple 6-8 weeks after the big day. If you’ve ordered a wedding album, we can start designing your incredible family heirloom. If not, it’s time to order prints and think about how to preserve your memories for your children and grandchildren.

Reach out today to tell me more about your wedding day plans! If I’m available on your wedding date, we’ll set up a free introductory call. We will talk about your photography needs and create a photography collection that works best for you.

I do! For a majority of your wedding day and for my portrait sessions, I use film. This yields absolutely dreamy images and a true authenticity that I don’t think digital can replicate. The timelessness of film photography has remained a constant for decades, and your images will continue to look timeless decades from now.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Absolutely! Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies, and I love combining it with work. Take me and my camera with you to your wedding. I travel regularly throughout New England and New York for weddings and engagement sessions. I love exploring new places and countries – ask me about traveling to your destination wedding around the U.S. or world!

Do you travel for weddings?

All of my wedding collections all include a photography assistant, someone to help me and manage my film and lighting equipment. This photographer will also photograph moments when I can’t be in two places at once. For larger weddings, I can provide a third photographer upon request.

Do you use film photography?

I photograph with 2 Contax 645 film cameras, a Contax G2 35mm camera, and a range of Mirrorless Nikon cameras, lenses and flashes. No matter where your wedding is, I always bring my complete set of gear, lighting equipment and backups.

What equipment do you use?

An engagement is a great way to feel more comfortable and confident in front of the camera before your wedding day. Without even seeing the photos, my clients feel so confident after their engagement session. It’s also a great way to get photos in a special place that we may not be able to visit on your wedding day. Engagement sessions are available a la carte or as part of a wedding collection.

Do you recommend doing an engagement session?

I do! The rehearsal dinner or welcome party is a great time to get more photos with your friends and family so you aren’t as rushed to get certain photos on your wedding day. Ask me about full weekend coverage when you inquire!
